my first exhibition! the opening ceremony is on friday but everything is all ready for it already. we got our grades today too, and i got 3, which is the best possible grade. I’m satisfied!
I’ll post more pics of the opening night on friday or saturday, so look forward to those. C:
playing around with watercolor
the paper i had was not meant for watercolors, it kinda absorbed all water and yeah. looks kinda cool maybe? could be worth it to try and paint something proper with this technique, it’s very reminiscent of okami somehow
okay finished! I decided to keep the background really simple so that it doesn’t steal the spotlight from the girl
in the end I don’t really like it much but it was good practise as far as watercolors go. my teacher complimented the skirt part a lot.

Dress was originally a moi-meme-moitie dress, but after receiving critique about using their design I drew on a design of my own. It’s still obviously inspired by moi-meme-moitie, because I love their dresses a lot. Anyway yeah, not claiming the dress as my design.
Sorry for the gigantic watermark but I’ve had my drawings stolen before and it sucks a whole lot. Having a watermark in a place where it’s not easy to edit out prevents theft.
